A nigh tout in Macau including a walk through The Venetian Hotel-Casino, which dwarfs the one in Las Vegas, the spectacular The House of Dancing Water, Asia's answer to Cirque du Soliel's "O", a peek at a 218 carat diamond, a stroll through the old Portuguese sector, strung with Chinese lanterns, a bungee jump and an international fireworks competition.

  • @hulkhatepunybanner No, they didn't copy something American, they copied something Italian. You probably think that pizzas and French fries are American too

  • I've been to Hong Kong twice, but always declined on the idea of going to Macau because I'm not much of a gambler. After watching this, perhaps I should have gone.

  • @MrEestimaa Macau is not copying Las Vegas as Macau has had casinos for over 160 years, but Vegas only had legal casinos since the 1930s. Macau was a famous gambling destination long before Las Vegas, it was originally called the Monte Carlo of the Orient.

  • @nicktamere75 no but LAS VEGAS IS AMERICAN!!!...And you know its like vegas...copying isint bad ..

  • SUPERB!!!! TOO BAD WE HAVE NO MONEY TO BUILT SPLENDORS LIKE THOSE..

    AT LEAST THEY HAVE TASTE

  • @hulkhatepunybanner As someone else already said, Italian, not American.

An argument could be made that China reached its peak in the T'ang and has stagnated since the fall of the Ming, however. This wasn't 2000 years ago, though.

  • cũng là ăn cắp kỹ thuật của Mỹ mà thôi, hay ho gì mấy anh ba tầu xỏ lá

  • Really? Everyone else is amazed by another Chinese copycat of something American? It's like a bigger version of the iPod. Something else the Chinese like to copy. Not counting everything else they copy. The only thing they don't copy is ancient Chinese ceremonies. I figure the Chinese stopped thinking up original ideas about 2,000 years ago.

  • Très bien

  • This was one of the most amazing places that I had visited while performing at the Encontro 2010. Obrigada! Ramana
