yeah some indian arse hole wanted me to pay 350 bucks to remove some virus from my computer that norton let through i wont be using norton again there a bunch of wankers i didnt pay the money as i had a computer tech look at it and he said it was a scam and `that there were no viruses in my computer its all a fucking scam

I've been awaiting a refund for over THREE MONTHS! Just spoke with Vivek (yes, Indian) for 30mins, explaining 5X that I purchased 10-5-11 & sent in every required doc less than 2wks later. Yet, he continued to say, "You must get refund in 60 days." Beyond stupid to be unable to grasp even the basics of the conversation. I read him from copies I'd made of everything, but he was like a robot repeating a mantra.

Oct 2011, I sent refund forms to Oregon. I LIVE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA 5hrs away!

As someone else points out, the fact that a YouTube video is necessary to locate Norton's Customer Service speaks volumes about what a pathetic company they are. Their web site is HORRIBLE, and purposefully designed to be convoluted and evasive. Their robotic support, Nathan, can't answer the simplest question (like where's my refund?), and there is NO email or phone number provided. Then you're rolled over to COMMUNITY FORUMS to ask other users!! What scumbags. Thanks for number, btw.

I had this happen on Vista and I am a computer expert. Rebuilding was the only option because they could not tell me what they would do different for my $100 that I had not already done.

Later, when Norton, now Symantec, deleted none hostile software and had no recovery path, I will not voluntarily use this product again.

This year, though I uninstalled all Symantec products they felt it was OK to automatically renew licenses I did not use. When informed of this they forgot to be professi

They did all this for free. It was symantics..com/NRT for norton removal tool

I Called them they remote into my computer ran a removal took and assured me norton was gone as I use avast. I kept getting a pop up and regedit would not delete it.
