@KatieCallawayHall damn thats bad Katie, thankfully I have gotten rid of stupid windows lately and now using Linux Mint, a really great OS, no more worries about malware for me :-) , i posted on sharks forum and I didnt like the subtle way he asked me to try installing media player classic but FROM HIS SITE because of security "enhancements" he said..sounds like a scumbag, I hope u mention him on many web forums, I will, take care

Not all items caught by malware detectors are actually malware. I have been using Shark on several machines with good success. I have had other programs that I knew were good get detected as malware. Just because a programs thinks something MAY be malware, doesn't necessarily mean it is. But be cautious of course.

finally someone else with as much problems as i had with this piece of crappy software.
Hi Katie, very sorry to hear of this, needless to say I saw your vid AFTER I installed this same pack (sods law), so nearly had seizure, however, I scanned, updated re scanned with Norton IS 2010, MalwareBytes, and TrendHouseCall a few times and all seems clean. The only problem I have is wmv's will now not play, everything else does though. I'm uncertain whether to keep it now, maybe I will go for another pack. Did you get it from sharks site directly??

@icekool666 It was from sharks direct. The cpu level went to 100% and was using 1 GB of ram. I googled and found dozens of sites warning against shark007. They even have a shark007 remover. Shark gave me toolbar, diff home page that changed it self even after I rechanged it. My mouse froze completely. The real culprit was in the Haali Media Splitter.
