Where Have You Been? - Manchester Orchestra

This is a video I made for Manchester Orchestra. It just mainly puts emphasis on the last few words of the song. I hope you like it still a very rough cut but I will not edit it for a while. I hope this is not looked at as a snuff film or just alot of horrible events slapped into one. It is the reality which happens behind the curtain. This is the what war we are fighting the thing we all pass off a some kind of fictional event. People are losing there lifes every day to such worthless things as religion, and wealth. We live in a do nothing generation our grandparents faught the war and were actively part of politics. We are the ones that give washington power remember that. We should not have to choose between the two idiotic canidates washington gives us. Rise up and take back your country and end discrimination. We are torturing innocent people, selling weapons to terrorists, and allowing are canidates to be chosen on the basis of supposed morals such as religion rather then governing ability. Wake Up America \

and I'm very sorry about the advertisements at the end. They were meant to be space fillers while I was still addding clips. And I was going to take them out. But didnt realize until after I uploaded the video and I no longer have the file so I can not edit it.

I don't see this as a religious video. I see it as the opposite. Where is god at all these horrible events and if god loved us so much why does he let it happen? So god where are you now ?

dude no offense but your way off...i went to high school with andy...he and i were actually close...you got the meaning of the song wrong...it's a christian song not a crap on God idea...listen to the rest of the cd the christian theme is obvious...i mean andy is a pastors kid and a sold out christian

I know this. But I am merely just making my own art and meaning out of a song that I love from a band that I love. I do not pretend to know what andy really means by his lyrics. But If I can make them meaningful to myself then why not let me do so. I think andy is an amazing guy and respect him for his christian beliefs since they seem to be more pure and not of the dogmatic variety that this video concentrates on. @jmcclelland85 dude jus sayin its kinda hard to make arguments when you dont take all tha facts into consideration. According to tha Christian belief, God gave us free will and we let sin enter which is worthy of consequences worse than tha crap that happens here on earth and yet instead of giving everyone what a punishment they deserved he said hey ill give ya a way out. now im not sayin that's enough for you to become a Christian, but i think Christians have a fairly good rebuttal

God is just a concept, we should follow christian morality(at least a part of it), not wait for the Allmighty to save us. He didn't gave us anything; he's there for us to be afraid of him.

I guess it's easier to blame God than to realize the good you don't do with your life is equally as wrong as the bad others do do with their life.

God gave us the right to free will, it is up to you in what you do with that free will.

In the album The Changing Of Times by UnderOath the lead singer talks about he hates God but then in the end realizes that he has been there loving him the whole time. So instead of complaining to God take strive and go out to make the world a better place.
