  • There have been some changes in the law in New Jersey that offer Angie a glimmer of hope and a measure of protection. She and one other family are the last ones left on the block. All of the other homes around her have been boarded up or razed. She soldiers on. She gets postcards, prayers and letters of support from people all across the country. Many in the community hope that the City leaders will once and for all, put a moratorium on the use of eminent domain for private gain.

  • What every happened to Angie? My heart goes out to her. I'm sure with the real estate bust in this country, her home was never demolished and she never had to leave. It's horrible that the government would even allow this to happen to an elderly person! Shame on them and the developers too! Can there be a follow up to this movie? A part 2?

  • I agree completely. Asbury Park has suffered under decades of corrupt government and, while they give the impression of being a progressive city with a black mayor and police chief it appears these supposedly "liberal" men are just as willing to get in bed with the money men as the "old boy" network, even if it means throwing the "Angies" of the city out of their own homes. Shame on Asbury Park and the developers who have totally lost touch with their humanity in a never ending quest for wealth.

  • I found this doumentary to be very touching. My heart bled for Angie. It is truly unbelieveable that this can happen in America.
