  • Not so keen on the 66s or 92s..............many fond memories of 81s,85s,86s & 87s in the early 80s..............would quite happily spend a whole day at the junction in the school holidays...........definitely one of the best locations in Scotland for freight and passenger traffic action.

  • :) nice one with the 37s.

Unfortunatly I wont get the same driver at Crewe, I think they do 2 driver changes on this service; Crewe & Carlisle, so the driver you saw must have been north of Carlisle.

Perhaps when they do the changeover at Crewe I'll ask but consider use of a tripod :)

    cheers

  • hehe yep! i aint into the waving thing yet i might be soon tho:P i did wave however that time the double class 37 passed carluke they were 2 snobby spotter types at other end and it blew there horn to them so it was a must i got a horn also LOL :P

hehehe yes cos if the same driver u be sure to get some hornage:)

    thanks matey!:)

  • it's always the case isn't it? When I'm using hands I mostly jump at horns, but last time I was at Crewe I never jumped. Strange eh?

I'm hoping to see it in 2 weeks time so just as a precaution I'll use a tripod ;-)

I'll check your next vids out tomorrow evening.

    Cheers :)
