Beth Moor Bible Study: Stepping Up

Starting Wednesdays January 9th 2008 at the Desert Springs Church. 9AM & 6PM. Beth Moore's newest study is Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent. Through an in-depth look at 15 Psalms, participants in this study can pray, reflect, and write a personal rendition of these ancient choruses.

Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God.

Known for presenting the Scripture in living color, Christian speaker, author, and ministry leader Beth Moore brings joy and excitement in Christ to life through words. Her deep love for the Savior is obvious; her style of speaking electric. She loves the Lord, loves to laugh, and loves to be with His people.

Beth first realized God was seizing her future for full-time ministry at the age of 18. She conceded all rights to the Lord she had loved since childhood. Being confident of God's calling on her life, she finished her degree at Southwest Texas State University where she met and married Keith Moore.

You've gotta do a Beth Moore study. They are awesome. Try the one called "Living Beyond Yourself" It was a hard one for me. I remember when I started, I would cry and say no - because I didn't want to hear what she said, but in the end, I heard and I am blessed.

Beth Moore enlivens the Psalms of Ascent in only a way that she could. This is yet another great study by Beth Moore. It is the Fourth Bible study that I have completed by Beth. Like the rest it was great. I begin my fifth study by Beth in one week. I can't wait.
