Fiddler Eddie Stubbs sings on this number by Ernest Tubb. This is from the 2/20/88 show in Lucketts, VA and is some the best live bluegrass ever recorded.

  • As close to Jim Reeves as you'll ever hear. Score!

  • @RonsVideoKeepers YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN HE CAN PLAY AND SING

  • Met Mr. Stubbs last night at the Quebe Sisters Band concert in Ashland, VA. He is a true gentleman. I've listened to him with the Johnson Mountain Boys a lot and he's a great fiddle player and singer too.

  • I love it.

  • The shuffle he gets on that bow... Folks, they were as good as gets. I still miss 'em.

  • What a voice!! From Canada--hats off!!

  • I love this man's fiddle playing!!

  • He looks like a mixture of a refined Woodberry Forest graduate and Hank.

  • Eddie Stubbs is truly a nice man. Ive met him several times and he's always gracious.
