this guy is so intuitive, its amazing

aikido is basically use less of your own strength in comparative to enemy strength to throw the enemy around. Surely a skinny girl can not beat a huge buff guy even if she master this art

1:18 - AGRICULTURAL!!!!!!!! and HUNTING!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! I never thought of it that way! plus I feel like there was more of a relaxed mindset with the Japanese culture- meaning more of a calmer external mindset- wheras with Western boxing and wrestling - one is taught to keep moving and jumping to evade and trick the opponent....

"Akido is the combat art of physics" Sounds like Einstein would been a great Akido master lol
-
Did Judo for over 30 years, Aikido for 4 and now I do Taiji for 13 years. One can see that the great art of Aikido found its basic in Taiji....indeed, Aikido is a very effective
and nice art to learn. Every youngster and healthy adult should learn it..Good Luck.

@FearThisChannel Iaido, iaijutsu, or kenjutsu could qualify as classical Kendo.
-
@Darktician Aikido has many good techniques but one has to admit that some techniques rely on a willing uke.
-
He said Sportive Aikido and Classical Aikido. Now, is there also a Classical Kendo?
-

I see alot of arms out there...hmm lucky bujinkult isn't here to see this or bujincant, theres alot of the art of the arm out on this vid. No offense to Aikido, I was just making a statement, I like Aikido.
hellzblade, u do not understand aikido thats why u are ignorant of it. Go watch more MMA and try and your take down on me charge at me full force and I will just not resist aganist you but rather blend with you "tenkan" out of the way and give you an extra little shove to push you into that wall. So you will charge full force head on into the wall all by yourself! Now thats Aikido kid!! watch MMA "sport" its not an Martial Art kid

Aikido can be effectively used by anyone, because it relies on the enemy's strength rather than the users strength. It's literally the combat art of physics.
