Snow leopard is illegal to install on tiger, there isn't any thing physically stopping you though. To install legally apple says you need to purchase mac box set with iLife and some other stuff for over $100

Idk, I think apple will repair it and NVIDIA pays apple to replace anything, I havnt used warranty before and idk how to use it. I might phone AppleCare soon to see if they can repair with out warranty.
