Part 4. contains the 30 mile route march across Dartmoor

No need to comment on how good the marines are, or who they are better than... they already know...

R.I.P Tom Curry, Georgie Sparks and all others who have given so much for our freedom.

  • As a US Marine I have the upmost Respect For This Man He Truly Earned that Green Beret RIP Marine

  • When I'm 55 I want to be like him.

  • @old45marine Recruits can start at 16, and training is 30 weeks now. some marines do pass out before 17.

  • @IANCARRUTHERS

Hi Oppo I joined in 1970, and recruits training started at 17,and the juniors joined the troop at that age also.Just intrested how you managed to do the Commando tests at 16?

Also the RMC training takes 39 weeks, 9 months. That being the case you started basic training at 15...........I dont think so

  • Great effort by all the lads and especially the 55 yr old Chris. Well done.

Also, RIP georgie Sparks and lt Orlando Rogers, a great troop commander. Very sad to find out about it now.

  • @CroizerHD What happened?

  • chris terrill, the toughest 55 year old around

  • Incredible footage of this 55 year old gentleman, what an inspiration to all , worked for many years in gyms in the UK as a Personal Trainer and never ceased to be amazed at the incredible stamina, drive and powerful strength of ex military personnel i've trained, was inspired to be a PT by my father who was a PTI and gymnast in the KOSB so had the best of starts in my profession

  • Did my Commando Tests in 1980.....hard graft( i was 16 1/2 @ the time),awesome effort by this 55 year old Gentleman. The spirit-drive and determination has stayed with me certainly all my career including post RM,and i think that's very true for 99.9% of all ex-RM in some capacity or other imo.My Son is just about to complete his own Commando Tests @ CTC Lympstone very soon, after re watching all the 55 year Old Commando exerts i'm well 'pumped',and will be advising my lad to watch asap.GD EFFORT!

  • I've done a 10 clicker with webbing weapon before and my feet were shredded with deep cuts and blisters...30 miles is fucking impressive
