Get some good books on the subject, forums like Ultimate Guitar and TheGearPage are great sources of info. Practice on scrap or cheap wood. Check out my vid on routing out the bodies, but this is just one way of doing it. Good luck

I think you should move your talent onto acoustic guitars. You do some excellent work and I certainly would love to have a hand-crafted acoustic with such beautiful marquetry.
