  • When will "Play by Ear" Volume 1 be available to purchase again. Website says it's out of stock.

  • We are so sorry for this! Every-time we produce them, they become sold out really fast. We have to boost up our inventory. Sorry about this, but we should have them back in about a week and a half.

  • Hey Jamal,

I'm just a recent viewer to one of your videos and also a late starter on learning the piano. My question is, is it better to memorize all the keys and all the scales and all the chords and etc. Or is it better to play pieces in progressive levels.

More like, which one is faster and which one do you recommend?

  • I would recommend learning the most popular and most important chords along with the scale degrees in all keys, then learn progressions. The progressions are built upon those chords, so you have to learn the chords first, before the progressions. My DVD shows you how to learn all of them together in a systematic way.

  • @GospelMusicians Jamal u are a king! I want to buy your DVD, but I don't know which one to get. I've been learning the piano for around 2 years and I am going ok but I want to learn heaps about chords, progressions and scales in all the keys. I produce my own music so it is more from a composition standpoint however, your videos and tips are awesome and I can gain something from every one of them. So which DVD would you recommend for someone in my positon?

    Many thanks from Australia,

    James

  • @LTDproduction Start off with the Play by Ear Volume I & II. Go to the link in the description and you will see more details on the DVD to see if it is for you. We ship to any country in the world.
