get ground from the radio and put it into the rca inputs and it cuts off all the noise from the ingine .
-
for a fast quick to that problem..on the rca out puts of the radio run a wire to the negative of the rca"the outside part of the rca" and ground it the ground wire for the radio.i get radios in with the same problem.that workd for me.

@bjones416 OH OK THANKS BUT I HAD SOLVED THE PROBLEM. I JUS NEEDED 4 VOLTS OUT ON MY HEAD UNIT AND IT GOT RID OF THE PROBLEM.

@4thavenuenigga most people get that problem when they run they rca wires and power wire on the same side of the car..since the power wire comes from under the hood it can bring the sound of the engine with it and rcas pick up everything..i kno it sounds wierd the way i worded it but thats wat its coming from

how come you did not use a ground loop isolator? why use a high to low
-
just ground the rca outer jackets. also if you fix the ground loop itself you will be better off.
