i don't care if it was accurate or not!! it got the story across,and it was entertaining. that's all a movie needs. i dont care if the nieuport and fokker whatever moved at so-and-so speed. it was entertaining, and it had some hotties (james franco AND martin henderson-woot woot!). so just RELAX!~!!good movie!

The speed of the planes moving in the film actually didn't look overdone. 113 MPH is fast, when you think about it. Just look at a car moving by at 75 MPH. Now change that car into a WW1 airplane and you'll find that they actually move faster than what the human eye and mind seems to correlate (when going at top speed, that is; the Nieuport 17 averaged 113MPH, the Fokker DR1 averaged at 125MPH).

This was a very entertaining movie. Unfortunately it is very innacurate. The physics for the planes were non existent and the german planes were innacurate as well. The Dr.1 was not used nearly as much as the movie would suggest.

Shitty review of a shitty movie. How could they praise this POS? It was easily one of the worst war movies I've seen in recent memory.
