  • all my life we had dogs, so when i got a place of my own i got a lurcher. they eat anything. soft minded. loyal, obedient and can get so small they can sleep on a cushion. they mostly sleep but need at least 2 or 3 daily burnouts. i let mine go at the park and he runs in huge circles. i think they get some kind of serious buzz from sprinting. id recommend anyone who wants a dog without hassles - a lurcher greyhound. pref a rescue cos there a bit more mature.

  • Fred is a lot like mine - loves his food, and takes it very gently from you. Well done in looking after these fabulous animals.

  • Good People, doing good work for homeless animals, of which Fred-the-Lurcher was one.

Freshfield Animal Rescue, near Liverpool, England, has no funding and relies solely upon donations from the public.

'Dave' and his wife, fredsbuddy, [who posted this] help raise funds by running 'Ghost Walks' in conjunction with Tom Slemen, the well-known 'Haunted Liverpool' Ghost-writer.

Freshfied Animal Rescue have all sorts of animals in their care.

They never put an animal down if they can help it

  • your dog is very cute
