Sad viewing this and now we have the Harrier also gone.

My Dad flew these for 5 years, out of RAF coltishall in norfolk, i grew up on the base, he says its the best onbe he's ever flown. Great video. Where was this filmed? Coningsby?

Plus the people flying for the Red Arrows are "The best of the best..." The 13 pilots in the Jaguars are not good enough. JOKING!!!! OK?! I don't fly fast jets.

The Red Arrows are not "idiots" for a start. Your comment "13 Jags do what the Red Arrows can't" really makes no sense as yes, there are only 9 Reds, but the Jaguars are just doing the formation the the Reds do, just with an extra four men. Jeez.

The answer to the immortal question - HOW MUCH AWESOME???

Not only in the RAF, everywhere you see there is no variety, excepting iranians : P

but they are more capable than the jaguar and the typhoons are better than them both, so if the typhoons had to replace one then its better to replace the one thats not as good ..... but jags were still an awsome aircraft

All these aircraft went to the Defence Aeronautical Engineering College at RAF Cosford. They are now ground instruction airframes training the new RAF and navy techies their line and rectification training..
