Personally, I don't see that much of a John K influence (though the Dad did remind me of George Liquor for some reason). I think the Chuck Jones/ Dr. Seuss influence stands out more.

Thank you Bianca! Layouts and key drawings were done on traditional animation paper with col-erase pencils, it was then scanned, the inbetweens were drawn in Flash with a Wacom tablet, the ink & paint stage was also done in Flash.
