They found that the compressions are more helpful than the breaths. So, next time you take a class it may be different. just in case, the 2005 AHA guidelines (the latest) state that 15:2 ONLY WHEN THERE ARE TWO CAREGIVERS.IN INFANTS.. every other scenario is 30:2 (including one caregiver alone and "baby")

As of 2010, it is 30 compression to 2 breaths.
