The sole purpose of this drill is to work & develop short range elbow / forearm / and palm strikes from the clinch position. The idea behind this drill is economy of motion striking within the clinch so the need for body & head punching isn't needed as once trained a short range Elbow / Forearm / Palm Strike will become a lot more effective. The drill starts off with the defender reflexively defending themselves whilst the attacker must react to the defenders responses and deliver strikes to open areas.

  • You should use elbow pads and forearm pads to do this (just a suggestion), so you don't get cut/brusied up too badly.

    Good Vids, wish I had friends that were interested in rbsd (they only like bball and football)

  • Short range explosive elbows in a tied up position like that is great thinking. Keep it up.
