@HiltonTrio Thank you very much. To the best of my knowledge it's by Dr John. The lyrics on the version where he sings seem to be based on an old Victorian Ballad "Silver Threads Among the Gold" (the only recording of him singing it I've been able to find is on his live album "Such a Night"). There's a fantastic version on YouTube by "Chase Garrett" (you can find him among my subscriptions), he has amazing technique and plays the Dr John 'instrumental' version of it almost note for note.
