A new report from the New America Foundation states that one of every three people killed in the U.S.'s not-so-secret drone war in Pakistan is a civilian. The report also discloses that none of the strikes in 2009 targeted Bin Laden, and that they have had little impact on the Taliban's ability to plan operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan. To the contrary, the drone strikes serve as a powerful recruiting tool for the Taliban and al Qaeda.

NATO should never never discontinue Drones, they should have more drone attacks.

Also it sucks that so many innocent people are being killed but consider this, if the U.S. tried to invade Pakistan so many more innocents would be killed like in Iraq. There is no such thing as a perfect war, there are always going to be innocent people killed. But at least with drones we can minimize civilian casualties. Just name one modern war in which no civilians died. Yes it sucks tremendously for the families of the victims but remember that we didn't start this war.

i support drone attacks because Pakistan doesn't want U.S. troops in their country so this is the only way we can go after the enemy in Pakistan because they're not doing it. And that report which said that they haven't affected the Taliban is bullshit because I've seen so many other reports saying the Taliban admit the drone attacks have disrupted their operations but they make them "more determined to fight". Okay whatever guys be as determined as you want, you use IEDs, we use drone attacks.

bombs don't care about being precise, they don't care who's evil or good, they don't care children and insurgents, they don't care about soldiers and civilians...

they kill everybody, and destroy everything, because there is no such thing as a precision bomb...

@IBlendFruits But obviously 'bombing runs' will never be accurate, no matter how high tech, because the real war is one of cloak and daggers and plenty of torture. So the 'intelligence' will never be reliable and thousands of innocent paople will get caught in the cross fire. War is never tidy, but it sure fills the wallets of war mongers.

@psysprouts i wouldn't but i would rather have acurate missiles fired down on these drug dealers then inaccurate bombing runs that wwould take more lives in the process. Also if there were drug dealer who were limiting my freedom and the government was broken, i would be alright with mexico coming in and taking control of the situation. I would ask for asylum and leave to a green zone.
