I have a question about inhalation, exhalation. my book says we inhale some carbon dioxide when we breath in, and we exhale some oxygen when we breath out. I can't understand why is this if we need the oxygen in the lung. thanks

just wondering how can the asbestos get to the pleura?
and if it is really cytotoxic why isnt the tumor develop in the lung parenchyma at first.
