  • Hello, I think you videos are great, how did you set up you tank to create such flow? do you use any special equipment. I live in the UK and would love to keep some brown trout in a tank.

    thanks,

    G

  • {PART1}

    Thanks for your comment.

    I dont use any special equipment except for water cooler that a few Japanese Aquarium gear companies sell for keeping especially marine water fish however, which I use for these salmon related fish.

    I dont know similar equipments are available in Uk however, it is what you have to do at first ,not that we see if they are sold in uk not that I ask you of the average temperature in the hottest month through one year in your place,

    What is it?

  • [PART2]

    Water temperature above 23℃ is generally very lethel to trouts though,actually,In Japan, one of the southest places in the world where some species of trouts are native, breeded trouts some of which are even from foriegn coutries like BrownTrout or Rainbow Trout, have been more and more tolerent against such a high temperature by natural genetic selection through generations of 100 years.

    But your place seem cooler than here.

    So, you can keep one just as you keep goldfish.

  • [PART 3]

    If you can keep water temperature below 22℃ through a year without any water cooler, it is what you should do for your dream as the first step that is preparing equipments that r necessary for keeping fish.

    If you have no experience of keeping fish ever,go to an aquarium shop in your town and ask its owener how to keep.

  • PS: generally, most of trouts offend each other because of it nature on territoriesbut Brown trout has without any exceptation, the most violent nature against others of them.

    So I reccomend you to keep one sole in one tank.
