tremendous brunettes was a lyric in an early version of "the Incumbent" known as "There's Only One Everything"
and i can formulate my complaint to Doughty about his current music: it's bland. there's no twist, no unconventional sound to it, just the generic singer-songwriter sound of today with his awesome voice. SC is dead, long live SC

MD isn't an amazing guitarist. And his voice isn't the best. Fine.
But his lyrics? His stage presence? His audience interaction? INCREDIBLE. Say about him what you will, he's still fantastic.

I guess i'm just offended as a guitar player, someone whith ears, a speeker of the human language....maybe just offended in general by the anti-spectacular nature of this song/ dude. i have to do my best to warn the good people of youtube who might stumble upon mr. doughty and get this crappy, uninspired song stuck bouncing around thier unfortunate cortexes. thats what im doing here, i would say....since you ask.
