Premier animal rescuer Lindi Biggi takes time from her beautiful bird garden in Palm Desert, Ca. to share how microchipping became something she had to educate other pet owners about. Sincere and warm, her message is not lost on us as we listen and think about our own pets and the tragedy it would be if we lost them. The possibility of a way to find them quickly brings hope to all.

  • Does the cat or dog have to be at the vet to get tracked so you can find it

  • Hi, not really. If your pet is found by a stranger who cares, they usually have THEIR vet check to see if there is a chip or if the dog is taken to a shelter, they check to see. People are pretty saavy to the micro-chip thing these days. Thanks for asking! Kate

  • @tfrenn can you take them abroad with that ??

  • @critterchitchat these microchips are dangerous and have serious health risks, you can just put a trackable device on there collar..
