A Mandelbrot fractal being generated on my TI-83+ calculator. Time lapse done with a cheap webcam, camgrab, ffmpeg, and a couple of perl scripts I wrote (to stitch them together).

Program made using TI-Basic

  • If, by any chance, could you email me the program to:

    GinDiamond15@yahoo.com

  • Anyone who wants to do this on their own calc, look up the Mandelbrot on Wikipedia, I think there's pseudocode that you can get the idea from.

  • @theinklein Yes, but could you give me (or danaisduhborn)the codes you used (the fysical program) to generate this fractal? I'm making an essay on plotting the fractal on the TI and I could really use the program!

  • Can you please post a textversion of your code? Pleeaaase?.. ^^

  • Amazing beans.

  • any way you can write it out for me? i'll program it in, fractals are so fun =P but I'm lame at writing programs...
