Daily and Johnson dragster. Firing off the blown 426
hemi nitro fueled engine.
How cool to feel the concussion of the power. Look at what happens at 3.20 minutes. Like 8 sticks of dynamite exploding with every revolution of the engine!!!!! Even though its only a blip of the throttle and maybe 4,000 RPMs, that my friends sound like Thats like over 600 sticks of dynamite every second!!! OH yeah baby!!!!!!

  • OK I have changed the title. I'm not up on the newer Hemi's. I actually just got into Hemi's a few years back as I built a 1952 Desoto 276 to power my 1929 Whippet 3 window. Other than that, I have been a Pontiac Die hard. So I stand corrected.

  • Oh and thanks for letting me know about the engine. Thanks for the responses. I love the sound of these cars!! Nothing like them.

  • A 392 with the mag in front? Don't think so. Looks more like a 426 to me.

  • This is soooo good! Beautiful car! Just a small correction. The hemi is a 2nd generation engine (426). Thanks for the awesome video!

  • Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Brings back memories for sure. Sounds so good switching over to the "hard stuff"! SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY US30 DRAGSTRIP... See the Mayhem!!!! SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
