I never said you said that...All i said was that you have to be a pump op. to drive the trucks. Your rules are different than ours. Our say ywe cant ride the pumper to calls. Only the rescue. Your rules prolly state different

Im not lieing to you ... i never said we drive the trucks we can ride with them if we have an advisor with us ... so buddy get you facts stright before you go leveing comments and calling people names - thanks

Police Explorers are like fire explorers, but their with the police department. My friend is one. They don't let them drive the vehicles. He is just telling lies.

There was a typo. What I ment to say is that you have to be 18 to be a firefighter. And to be able to drive a truck you have to be a firefighter and have you pump op. class taken. Thats what i ment to say.

no you dont you have to be 16 to be a regular firefighter and 18 to drive trucks

Actually, they do. We ride along in full uniform with another officer for 12 hour shifts. We work as the officer's partner. We operate the lights/sirens, interview people and take notes, and operate the radio.
