bushcraft skills: how to make an arrow (just a very basic one... yet effective!)

many say that an arrow is much hard to make than a bow... and they might be right! arrow making requires time, patience, skill, resources and tools. that is, if you have all of the above and you want a really good arrow.
but, if you need an arrow "right now", maybe you can settle for a less-than-perfect-arrow, that still works within certain limits.
in this vid, i try to prove that a very basic arrow (that is easy to make in a short time with just a knife) can be accurate at a decent range and can deliver a lot of impact/penetration, more than enough to take small game (if you can get close enough). bow hunting is prohibited in romania, so i never shot an arrow to a living target, but i got in numerous occasions close enough to small game to be able to use even such a crude arrow with a fair chance to a clean kill.
even if i preffer a good arrow, it's nice to know that i can make and use a more basic one, too.

felicitari pentru filmulet. ai idee cum se poate face ca o sageata sa fie demontabila in 2-3 bucati? adik ai la tine o sageata desfacuta, si cand vrei sa o folosesti infiletezi acele 3 bucati si le foloesti ca atare. am vazut k pe site la patfinder exista asa ceva la vanzare dar sunt din carbon si costa cam 2mil :(

@bgnro din lemn nu prea vad cum s-ar putea face cu filet... eventual s-ar putea face una "din bucati" cu niste mansoane de alama, care sa fie fixe pe un segment si in care sa intre putin fortat segmentul urmator? daca vrei musai cu filet, trebuie sa fie din carbon sau din aluminiu si sa folosesti suruburi si piulite "ascunse" in segmente. daca aduni materialele si munca, 2 mil nu-i exagerat... daca ti-o faci singur, te costa doar materialele - scapi mai ieftin, dar trebuie sa te pricepi.

@ratesbolati in filmuletul asta - singer (e excelent daca-i uscat). merge bine de tot si alunul, dar nu prea creste pe linga timisoara.

@Liquidmonkey94 feathers are a huge improvement (much more useful than a stone/bone/antler tip), and i found some feathers that day, but i finally decided to keep things as simple as possible... and you don't get them much simpler! :D
