Wow, I just got back from the slopes. This is the song I set for repeat on my iPod while going down the black diamonds. I ate it hard, received some ice burns and scratches, but Jack Johnson was still playing, haha.

I'm a complete newbie at this but is this difficult in real life? If you are a complete beginner how easy is it to learn to snowboard?
Is it expensive? I mean the equipment and all...

hmm it's not that difficult.. especially if you already have some experience on skateboarding or surfing.
I would advice you to take lessons first instead of trying yourself, otherwise it can be quite dangerous. You can rent the equipment at first. If you want to buy all the stuff the price depends on the brand (for example Burton is very nice but not the cheapest). And don't try 1:51 it's insane..
