This was an experiment. I have a bunch of songs that I recorded on an open reel tape deck a long time ago. I was wondering if I could record the song into my computer, then save it as a wave file on a compactflash card and load it into my Roland Juno G workstation. It worked! The tape was recorded using the Sound on Sound feature in the deck so the original song is me playing my 1972 Martin D12-20 and singing then overdubbing with me playing my 1979 Takamine 6 string and singing harmony. Once I loaded the song into the Juno G I added a bass part, an acoustic lead part. some percussion and a flute sample part. This video shows how far technology has come since I recorded this. There were no personal computers then, no compact discs no cell phones, no GPS... the list goes on.
Your voice sounds very similar to Lennons. Great cover

Very nice! Way to blend technology. Reel to reel tape has a very warm sound. Great job playing and singing too!
