In the middle of a debate over levels of African migration, Channels 7, 9 and 10 all seized on what they said was evidence that young African migrants weren't fitting in.

They all ran breathless stories using surveillance camera video from a Melbourne bottle shop and claiming it showed African gang violence.

But what were viewers really looking at?

@Apteryxrules Why are they responsible? This video makes it clear that the manager wasnt racist. His words were twisted and put out of context. Maybe the actual shop owners MAY have been racist but there's no reason to assume they were complicit in this propoganda just because channel 7 and 9 claim to have their interests at heart.
