Hello GiveOrLooseIt! I'm just confused, is the spanish music and the flamenco music the same? Or the spanish music is under the category of flamenco? I hope you would answer my comment. I'm really confused, I hoped you would help me on my problem regarding with these.

Hi.
Well Flamenco is considered Spanish Music. But there are so many different styles..
For example only in the "Flamenco" Category are more than 50 styles!
In my Country i can play what is called Zeimpekiko.
Is also a Cypriot Music.
Get it?
You will be amazed how maaaany type of wonderful Music each Country and Culture has!
Live long and explore them amigo.
You will NEVER get board.
God Bless!

Dangerous...
You see...
If you are lucky maybe you can tune it on E but it will not sound the same.
If you use a thinner Bass string for the E like an A Bass all the rest should thin up as well or no proper sound.
Plus all strings are made for specific tension.
I tried all these and failed "hard.." :)
You are welcome to do so though!
Experience and learning things by trying them is our best teacher.
Take care amigo.
