The age of gambling. Early 90s is a period where numerous gambling movies and dramas start appearing. I supposed to be trigger off by Mr Chow Yun Fatt "Du Shen". Before "Shuan Tian Zhi Zun", we are treated off by an ATV drama "Sheng Zhe Wei Wang" which also causes a hit in Hong Kong. I believe this is what trigger SBC then to produce The unbeatables. The show is good and was a hit show.

I noticed nowadays youngsters doesn't know how to appreciate good classic local Chinese drama.
It might be from Singapore but it's one of their best dramas.
Most of the younger local Chinese these days think being fully westernize & speak only English is modern & glamorous which is of course bullshit.
White people will look down on you too if you don't appreciate your own culture.
