@san0designs :I took a large drink bottle and carry a spare bottle (1.5 litre total) in my rucksuck + a lucazade. This just about lasted until the final descent. Plus there is food too as there are no shops once you start. I did not see anyone with pads and for Skyline I don't think its necessary.
My film "The Whites Level Up" shows the first and toughest climb (and the best one I have done including Glentress). Skyline shares this climb. That film is better and uploaded in full HD.
