  • I use a 204 Ruger on foxes and it stop them hard

  • @phoenix1916 wow your still spouting bullshit on youtube....... How many years have you had nothing better to do than sit in front of your computer screen? Get a life.

  • @Aussie038 yes it is illegal to use poison for any animals other than rats or mice, foxes are a huge problem over here for hill farmers and poultry keepers, no matter how many we shoot there is always more about!

  • No idea, to be honest... It's been a long time since my family left their small farm in Ireland and I've lived in England for most of my life, so I'm not exactly clued up about farming and hunting laws over there (or here for the most part).

Personally I wouldn't be keen on using poison at all. They may be pests, but I've got a pretty "welfare" outlook. I'd rather something killed quickly than poisoned, and it doesn't fit too well with my preference for "organic" either.

    Cheers. :D

  • @thirteenfingers Don't worry about what some tool might say mate. That number of foxes in one farm is a lot any where!! Is it really illigal to use poison in Ireland?

  • What sort of range are you talking about though?

Land in Britain and Ireland is far less abundant than in Australia and so the average farm is a fair bit smaller too.

It'd be interesting to know how large an area those 15 were spotted on.

  • not really epidemic proportions if ya comparing it to australia it would be a shit night of hunting if you only shot 15 foxs for the night under a spotlight ...
