The rear cross is when the trainer brings the dog from one obstacle, behind them to the next obstacle. Teach any dog how to do a rear cross on an agility course by using the advice in this free video from an experienced dog trainer.

  • I would agree. This is a blind cross, not a rear cross. :)

  • Sorry, this IS a BLIND Cross. A Rear cross, you will cross behind the dog's path...not in front.

  • NO No No... this is a blind cross.

RC rear cross is when the dog goes ahead and you cross behind !

  • Go to All Ears Agility and click on our Rear Cross video to see a proper rear cross.

  • This should be taken off the internet!

  • Is this slow motion ?

  • AHHaaahhha....so funny...and the dog missing the last pole without the handler even noticing...is one of the reasons to NOT use a blind cross!! How could this trainer be teaching agility since 2002-and not know the difference between a blind cross and a rear cross!!??

  • Not impressed with ny of the expert village clips, doesn't look like anyone in the videos have the foggiest idea what they afre doing or talking about.

I mean making a training video surely you want it to loook correct so will publish a video with the dog missing the last weave. It would have only taken a few mins if even that to set it up again and get it right

  • the dog doesnt cross behind you, sorry but thats a blind cross.

  • Yep, that's a blind cross. Ouch!

  • Sorry, this is a blind cross. With a rear cross, the handler crosses BEHIND the dog.
