I don't see how you think that supports the claim that "the ends justifies the means" is ever a valid argument.

Over-simplified, the unchecked expansion of Nazi fascism led by Hitler in the combined European, Asian (yes, Russia is in Asia), and African theaters certainly provided a solid foundation for conventional military action. Most Americans (especially those fighting) had NO CLUE the atrocities Hitlers scientists were hiding in those camps and labs. So, in short, no, I don't think the Jewish Holocaust was the primary motive for Americas military involvement in Europe.
