Awesome! you went from a scrawny dude to a F'n big guy too .. what kind of routines lifts or whatever the F you been doing, pass the knowledge lol. Thanks
but you could have seen success sooner if youd use proper bench form. Arch back slightly, chest out , keep feet angled back,--> elbows tucked in.. then drop the bar nipple height or upper abs area..
You know I'm not a big fan of single rep sets. And it looks like you were doing them almost weekly. Some weeks you are strong, and some weeks you might be off form. When you keep failing, you beat yourself up about it. I train with a little bit more weight than normal and hit the reps more. When that gets stuck, more weight and less reps. THEN the big single. Like maybe one single in 6 months. But when you hit that single.. You smash the shit outta your previous. Good job mate ;)
Awesome job man...I was benchin 450 in 2006 while i was in afghanistan and shortly after we came back stateside I suffered a broken back as a result of my job with the army...After four and a half years of whining about how hurt I was and how ill never be back there again Im finally on my way, only puttin up 350 right now but ill get there eventually...Your quote at the end of this video is right...Keep fightin man
@jaredanson454 I think you've shown well enough what type of person you are. I'll leave your intelligence and credibility open to the interpretation of the rest of youtube. This is my last comment.
@jaredanson454 You never asked me for mine. But, now I'll give them to you. Look up: "Fundamentals of the Bench Press Arch" by Neal Dreisig, that should be a good start.
Good job. How much did you weigh at this time?

Don't bounce it off your chest, that's using the momentum of your chest to bounce the weight back up. It'll give you almost no results.
