@ScottishSkyBlue Yeah, he composed the St. Paul's Suite for the senior orchestra at St. Paul's and the Brook Green Suite for the junior orchestra.
Just thought I'd share even though you asked that a year ago.

very good plus its made by me my name is brooke green lol

umm wow, in both good and bad. The intonation was very good. But the dance movement was way too slow. You pretty much played it in 3/4 when it is supposed to be in 6/8. That was kind of a disgrace to that movement. But it was ok.

Im pretty sure because two of his other songs were named St Paul's suite and Hammersmith.
I personally like the band transcription of this song better but this is good for HS/MS? kids

Very well played!! Idt our orchestra is going to sound this good, we are playing the same piece!

wudv liked the last mvt a bit faster though to contrast from the 1st 2 mvts... plus its more exciting and fun to play. esp wen the cellos really have to belt it out on the c string near the end of the mvt where the music climaxes. BUT STILL>>> I HAVE TO SAY... VERY VERY well played! amazing :D

played really well! im afraid the last pizz of the first mvt was pretty butchered though... it shudv bn a very light touch on the string... otherwise it sounds too "plonky". ur 2nd mvt was fantastic!handled the tempo changes so well! but the violins were way too loud for the cellos in their moment! wudv bn even more perfect with more dynamic variation- but thats harder to get with a bigger orchestra. we play it as a chamber orchestra so maybe im just used to it with fewer people lol
Does the fact that Holst taught at St Paul's girls school situated at Brooke green Hammersmith have any relevance to the name of this music ?????
