Plot: Charlie's POV
Frank and Charlie are father and son. Frank is a former Lt. Col. in the US Army; he is blind. He's been bitter because of his blindness, therefore having such horrible attitude and neglecting his son. Now Charlie is in trouble in school and doesn't tell Frank until they are in New York for Thanksgiving. With their time together in New York, they reconnected and had a new-found bond. Their lives change, and ultimately changed Frank's attitude, and at the end Frank helps Charlie with his situation in school. They are both happy with their lives and are content with each other.
