Hi Guys, check out my demo of the Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer.

** NOTE: I mention that that Jimi Hendrix used the TS-9, this is actually untrue, Jimi may have used an earlier version but did not use the standing current TS-9 as demoed here. Simply don't believe everything you read on Wikipedia; ) Cheers guys.
Thanks to willievega - http://www.youtube.com/user/willievega for pointing this one out.

  • Very cool! Man, I have SO much to learn. I'm going to start going through all your videos.

Right now, I need to buy my first guitar amp! I won't be gigging out, just a very nice practice amp for making videos as well.

    Thumbs up, Tim!

    peace,

    Tim

  • @chessdude67 -

Hi Tim, thank you for checking out the video, appreciate your stopping by. Will PM you re the practice amp

  • Cool video. That reminds me! Must get my tube screamer back from our guitarist! You know, a lot of bass players use a TS9 just before the input on the bass amp, like a kind of pre-amp I suppose. I used to do it before I got the Hartke Bass Attack.

  • @JamieMal - Thanks for the comment, and the info, this is very interesting, the screamer certainly does push the mid rage, so it would be interesting to hear a bass through the pedal, pushing the lower nites.. very interesting. Cheers Tim

  • Great information!

  • @CassandraAntares - Glad to share! Cheers
