"Barton Springs Uprising" is a 24-minute documentary about the famous 1990 Austin, Texas City Council meeting at which hundreds of citizens urged city leaders to deny a Planned Unit Development along Barton Creek in Austin, Texas. Video used in the program of the public speakers and council members was recorded by the city and is archived at the Austin History Center. Additional footage of demonstrations outside city hall and Barton Springs Pool is featured.
