Just to add to this weight drained hater excuse, Oscar had just fought Steve Forbes about 6 months prior at a C.W. of 150lbs (no complaints about that fight anywhere) so DLH only came down 3lbs to fight Pac. Pac moved up 12lbs. Its much harder for a L.W. to jump to W.W. and win than it is for a bigger guy to lose 3lbs. Oscar's advantage.

Also in the 24/7, DLH said he had no problem making 147 and he could even make 140lbs. peace...

Mind games for blood tests? Of course that's a possibility. Saying you want the fight, of course that too is a possibility. Remember when Roach was saying he didn't want Manny to face Floyd for another 3-4 fights as they needed to prepare properly (during interviews around the 1st negotiations).
