On the second day of 2011, I decided to go along with Kyle to chase the YPMO-R1 around Morrisville, and whatever else happened, I decided to meet him at Woodbourne, of course something showed....
9:23 AM -
Minutes after showing up, NS 14G rolls east on the Morrisville Line into well...Morrisville. 14G has NS CW40-9 9430, NS C40-8 8309, and NS CW40-8 8382 for power.

9:35 AM -
Having put everything away and waiting for the ride, NS 24K called the West Lang signal, and I had to spring into action to set up, and I made it. 24K heads east with NS CW40-9 9919, NS CW40-9 9124, and NS CW40-9 9899 for power, stopping over the bridge to await clearance into Morrisville with 14G ahead of them. 9919 and 9124 were on 24K on the 28th too.

Around 10:30, we were in Morrisville. We waited at the Comfort Inn in Morrisville for the CSAO YPMO-R1 to come, which could've showed any minute. Well minutes turned into a half our, which turned into an hour. While waiting, we saw a freight local going by in the distance, and it wasn't the one we were waiting on, so we drove quickly to Delmorr Avenue to get it.
11:22 AM -
By the time we were at Delmorr Ave, CSAO WPBS-02 was already stopped after shoving onto the NEC. NS SW1001 2105 was the power for this train. 2105 then started west, totally gunning it west, going to full throttle.

With YPMO-R1 running really late, we thought we would drive by the NJT Morrisville Yard to see if it was stopped there before just heading to Woodbourne, Of course it was there. CSAO YPMO-R1 has NS GP40-2 3044 and NS GP38-2 5312 with no cars in tow. The chase then begins, with a brief pacing shot. We then get it at the Dairy Queen and running down Delmorr Avenue. It didn't take long to come back either, with only three cars. Before it got to us on Delmorr Ave, Amtrak 98, the Silver Meteor, heads east on the NEC with Amtrak HHP-8 659 leading and Sheriff's Railcar "Cripple Creek" on the rear. We then chase the MO-R1 back to the Comfort Inn where we end it.

Thanks for watching, stay tuned for Woodbourne.

Nice video, Dan. I can't believe how late YPMO-R1 was! If it hadn't been so late, I never would have left Morrisville and ended up missing it. Well, at least we all got to see 2105 smoke up the whole area. It's pretty unusual for the Silver Meteor to only have 2 Viewliners, and the Private Car at the end was cool.
