Microsoft's new ad campaign against Apple - they do not take into account that some people actually want to use OS X + all of its bundled apps - if you take that into account you get a totally different price point.

Repairs - Macs need repairing too

Webcam - Usually built into a laptop nowdays.

Video Editing - Your point is fair.

Music Editing Software - Many free ones out there and Abobe Audition is not overpriced.

Wireless Network - Wifi is built into laptops :)

Bluetooth - That is too!

Internal Hardware - Can cost £1000's but unless you are a total geek like me then you don't have to spend that much cash to run most programs and games at high quality.

To be honest, the only reason why schools teach students how to use Windows rather than Linux is because it currently occupies 90% of the OS Market. OSX is better though.

@MKAG212 oh sure apple may not allow other comp manufact to put there os on the stuff they sell at least apple isnt forcing any of the comp manufactures to put there os like bill gate does... windows did a lot of evil stuff since the first mac was born like copying saving personal data and sending them to their servers 95 or was it 98 getting jailed for blackmailing maxis (pinball game thingy ) n netscape copying (again) restricting win users unless u by da pro ver which is more democratic.....

I feel this ad was inadvisable for Microsoft. Simply put, when you are the big dog in the room, you don't waist your money and time worrying about the small guy, and while Apple is growing market share, they are still the little guy when it comes to the personal computer. Hence why you don't see too many ads from Coke slamming Pepsi. Its a moot point regardless, as most people will gravitate towards products they feel comfortable with.

how the fuck is this Microsoft striking back. It's saying PCs have expensive software, but cheap computers and Macs are expensive but most of the important software comes free with it. that seems like a balance to me :\

@MKAG212 why the fuck are you still arguing Mac vs PC?! The argument here is Windows vs OSX, and i'm sorry, but as far as the OS is concerned, OSX is the clear winner every time.
