actually they were free muslims from africa who came to america as early as 700 AD recorded.

no islam was in north america well before the spanish conqustadors and their genocide. A Harvard professor wrote a book about the arabic inscriptions found in native american colonies of the north africans here.

There's a huge difference between Indentured Servitude and Slavery. The first blacks to come to America were Indentured Servants, not slaves and they were preceded by mostly Irish ISs.
