@CyrusReborn My deepest sympathies for the shah. Is it true what you say? That the British and French were interested in the fall of the Shah because he wanted to nationalize the Persian Oil? Have you got any good sources for that?

If this was true, the situation of the middle east today is the fault of the west - September 11th, the islamic republic and the puppet governments in the maghreb states as well as the terror in Afghanistan. Long live the Shah

@Baurles also, Pahlavi monarchy was founded by Reza Shahe Kabir who saved Iran from destruction and crushed the british backed Qajar dynasty. Reza Shah and 100 horsemen and German Generals brought the Qajar dynasty down and saved Iran. Reza Shah was a passive friend of Adolf Hitler and Nazi germany, but Iran was neutral during world wars. England and Russian forces invaded Iran and broke our rights as a country and exiled our king. Pahlavi Monarchy was the 4th best Monarchy in Iran.

@Baurles Also. the Ajax operation is not the real name, the real name is T.P Ajax. T.P stands for Tudeh Party (communist party). Mossadegh was breaking constitutional laws and sympathized with communism, that is why the west made a coup by supporting the Shah and Islamists. They didn't want Iran to fall in communist hands. The Shah and Mossadegh weren't big enemies, the Shah congratulated mossadegh on becoming minister and the shah supported the nationalizing of Irans oil 100%.

@Baurles no my friend, you only know small parts of the history, probably from Iranians or documentaries with their own agenda. listen to the shah's speech on opec and iranian oil, that will show you why the Shah had to go from a western point of view. It doesn't matter what you think, britain and france funded and supported Khomeini, this is fact. BBC would send Khomeini propaganda to Iran frequently. Without the cooperation of england and hospitality of france it wouldn't be possible.

@CyrusReborn I dont think he was funded by Britain and France, since they had their puppet regime there, the Shah had gain absolute power as of Operation Ajax, where the british and americans had "invaded" Iran to overthrow the current government and privatize the industry.

You fail to realize that the 1979 revolution was orchestrated by britain and the oil corporations to break Iranian Nationalism and Iran as a country.
