World Firefighters Games 2008

The 10th World Firefighters Games will run from the 24th of August to the 3rd of September, 2008

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is tremendously proud to host the 10th World Firefighters Games in 2008.

We are keen to build on our reputation for innovation and excellence, and to work with all of our partners and the community of Merseyside to deliver the best Games yet.

Liverpool will be European Capital of Culture in 2008 and the Fire Service is delighted that our Games will contribute enormously to this massive celebration.

The city is famous for both its sporting pedigree along with the warmth and friendliness of its citizens and these two factors guarantee that the Games will be a remarkable success.

So however you love spending your time, we know you'll love spending it in Liverpool in 2008 and it all starts here with the best Games ever!
